Cub Scout Leader Training - Dec. 6th
The North Shore District is offering basic and position specific training for all Cub Scout leaders this coming Saturday, Dec. 6th in Leander. The Intro class runs from 9 to 11:30 am and the position specific class goes from 1-3 pm. Nominations for Top District Awards |

Nominations for the best of the San Gabriel District Awards must be turned in by Dec 11th. Each pack may nominate one Top Cub Scout, each Troop a Top Scout, each Venturing Crew a Top Venturer, and each Ship a Top Sea Scout.
Nominations are also sought for oustanding adult scouters eligbile to receive the District Award of Merit.
Nomination forms are available by clicking on the links below. Completed nominations should be turned in to District Advancement Chair, Gary Boyd by December 11th.

Registration is $35 if recieved by Jan. 2nd and goes to $50 after.

Hi Cub Scouters! My name is Shelley Franklin and I am your Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner. What does that mean?
I am here to help you plan and implement great activities and Pack Meetings for your unit. The way we accomplish this task is to have monthly Roundtable meetings where we share ideas and offer encouragement!
I strongly urge to come to our next Roundtable. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at First United Methodist Church at 7:00 pm.
For those of you who missed us last month, I have posted the handouts in the files and forms section of this website. Please look under Commissioners and you will see the goodies I have posted for you.

Units Turn in Show-n-Sell Phase money for early commission checks. |

Show-n-Sell commission checks mailed to Show-n-sell units based
on funds turned in on or before September 12. |

Units begin the Take Order Sale |
| Oct 28 |
Units submit Unit Order Form for Take orders through link on
Capitol Area Council, Boy Scouts of America website or to District Popcorn Kernel at District Location see http://www.bsacac.org/Popcorn/ |
| Nov 8 |
Units pick up their popcorn from the District Distribution Center |
| Dec 2 |
Units turn in money to District Turn-In location. Upon receipt of
payment the Council will release prize order to be shipped to the unit. |
| Dec 20 |
Commission checks cut and mailed to the unit chairman of record. |
