Seeking Families in Search of Fun . . . No Experience Necessary!
October 18-19, 2008
Texas Parks & Wildlife and the City of Georgetown want to help you create great memories enjoying the outdoors with your children.
The Texas Outdoor Family (TOF) program is designed to provide families a chance to learn basic outdoor skills needed for a great day at the park and a positive overnight camping experience. There is no better way to learn than to do! Your family will have a very hands-on experience that's fun and educational and we'll provide plenty of help and advice from outdoor specialists and trained volunteers. We're offering classes in camping, kayaking, fishing, climbing, insects, air rifle, rappelling, and many more.... Click HERE for details including classes, schedule, fees and registration
Space is limited. For more information, please call Ashley Mathews (TPWD) at 512-970-9247.
This is a great program for Cub famlies new to camping or families who enjoy trying new outdoor activities together!
